Why do you global warming freaks not realize the climate will change no matter what we do?

Sara asked:

I am not deying man-made global warming. I totally agree that it’s true.
However, we know at some point everything we see now will be totally different due to earth’s everchanging nature whether it be continental drift, ice age, non-man caused global warming, etc. And all these events will destroy costal cities and radically redefine the landscapes.
So what I’m asking is why are you putting so much effort into preventing the inevitable destruction that earth will impose on humans?
We’re all doomed to extinction and an everchanging planet.

To feed their self-righteous zeal while distracting themselves from the real problems in the world that involve evil in the form of an enemy.

It’s much easier to focus on something as silly as global warming, instigated by that raving liberal lunatic, Al Gore.

  2. No soup for you. Says:

It doesn’t exist. There was global cooling 20-30 years ago and we must have fixed it.

  3. One who wonders about life Says:

I’m with you there. I watched a video about global warming and it said that the glaciers in greenland are melting due to global warming. Even if we become more green, the glaciers are still going to melt so in the winter, it will be colder. but i’m with you on the whole “if it’s gonna happen, it’s gonna happen,” thing.

It is inevitable yes, but I still think we should do things that have less impact on the Earth. Like with air pollution, or putting things into landfills…stuff that isn’t natural to the Earth. People do need to realize that climate change, etc is a natural occurrence though.

I think that even if global warming “isnt an isssue” (but i beleive that it is, we should do something about it!), it is a good excuse for humans to take a look at the impact we are having on the world, and try to calm down out constant over-use of non-sustainable resources such as fuel. What humans are doing is not right, we do not own every thing on this planet, and we do not have the right to ruin it all. Global warming is a fact, not a random guess, and those of you that are too caught up in your selfishness to see that do not deserve to have all that has been given to you.

okay all these predictions were made 39 years ago. Did any of them come true?

“Man must stop pollution and conserve his resources, not merely to enhance existence but to save the race from intolerable deterioration and possible extinction.”
    • New York Times editorial, the day after the first Earth Day

“Population will inevitably and completely outstrip whatever small increases in food supplies we make. The death rate will increase until at least 100-200 million people per year will be starving to death during the next ten years.”
    • Paul Ehrlich, Stanford University biologist

“By…[1975] some experts feel that food shortages will have escalated the present level of world hunger and starvation into famines of unbelievable proportions. Other experts, more optimistic, think the ultimate food-population collision will not occur until the decade of the 1980s.”
    • Paul Ehrlich, Stanford University biologist
“It is already too late to avoid mass starvation.”
    • Denis Hayes, chief organizer for Earth Day

“Demographers agree almost unanimously on the following grim timetable: by 1975 widespread famines will begin in India; these will spread by 1990 to include all of India, Pakistan, China and the Near East, Africa. By the year 2000, or conceivably sooner, South and Central America will exist under famine conditions….By the year 2000, thirty years from now, the entire world, with the exception of Western Europe, North America, and Australia, will be in famine.”
    • Peter Gunter, professor, North Texas State University

“Scientists have solid experimental and theoretical evidence to support…the following predictions: In a decade, urban dwellers will have to wear gas masks to survive air pollution…by 1985 air pollution will have reduced the amount of sunlight reaching earth by one half….”

“At the present rate of nitrogen buildup, it’s only a matter of time before light will be filtered out of the atmosphere and none of our land will be usable.”
    • Kenneth Watt, Ecologist

“The world has been chilling sharply for about twenty years. If present trends continue, the world will be about four degrees colder for the global mean temperature in 1990, but eleven degrees colder in the year 2000. This is about twice what it would take to put us into an ice age.”

No scientist has ever said the planet doesn’t change, in fact it is the same scientist who discovered AGW that also did the research on these past natural events and the time these events took to happen 10s of thousands of years, not a couple of hundred. Pushing this argument is what shows the complete weakness of the denier case as they use the past natural events (as their proof) to deny AGW but both come from the same science and scientists.
It is true that we have no power over solar variation, but that is not is what is happening, we know that for a fact.

We aren’t supposed to accelerate extinction and make economies based on polluting newborns. Babies are toxic before their first breath and it predisposes them to cancers as well as health challenges. Who should speak for them and what species kills their own babies for money?

Go to this link and see what we are really doing on the surface of the planet. Radiation and more radiation of buildings, development while we react to the symptoms as well as C02.

All i know,we as human never been good to our nature,we are destroying our nature and don’t want to do anything about it. this is krazy.
