Yes, you could find vehement tobacco/cancer link deniers in the 80s.

The parallel is almost the same as with Evolution. I wonder how many GW deniers dont believe in Evolution.

For the record, I think global warming is an extremely obvious reality and that people who chose not to see it are oblivious.
