Everywere I look they say human activitys cause global warming, but nothing actually explains what those activitys are.

I am not deying man-made global warming. I totally agree that it’s true.
However, we know at some point everything we see now will be totally different due to earth’s everchanging nature whether it be continental drift, ice age, non-man caused global warming, etc. And all these events will destroy costal cities and radically redefine the landscapes.
So what I’m asking is why are you putting so much effort into preventing the inevitable destruction that earth will impose on humans?
We’re all doomed to extinction and an everchanging planet.

I’m writing a satire paper about global warming.
I need to list three benefits to my crazy solution.
My solution is making driving cars illegal.
So far I have two benefits [besides the obvious of it stopping global warming].
I have that it reduces obesity/health problems and that it helps stop car accidents. I need a third benefit and I can’t think of one. I have hit a road block.

I don’t doubt that we humans are effecting climate change on Earth. My troll-ish question is making the point that there seems to be a cosmic element to the rise in temperature, and not just humans abusing the earth’s resources. Which leads to the next question – realistically, how effective can we be at manipulating the macro climate?

I’ve been asked to do a presentation in school about the effects of global warming, and some skeptics always ask me the following:

1) Earth’s climate has been hotter in the past then it is now or any future projections, so why should we worry?

2) All this could be natural, what makes you think it is caused by humans?

3) Isn’t global warming good? We’ll see warmer temperatures, and crop yields will increase
